In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ernest; wife, Anny; grandson, Justin; sister, Delores; and brother, Richard.
Survivors include daughters, Susie (Gilbert) Hopper and Marianne (Farid) Fozouni; grandchildren, Khosrow, Nezie, Valerie, Kimberlie, and Stephanie; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby; and brother, Ernie.
