Raymond E. Lord

Raymond E. Lord, 85, beloved husband and father, passed away July 22, 2005. Raymond served in the Army Air Force during World War II and retired from Akron Public Schools after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Blue Lodge Masons, the Judson Lodge #319, the VFW, and the Goodyear Hunting and Fishing Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elon and Dollie Lord. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mellanee; daughters, Michele Kline (Gary Hartman) and Heather Conley (Brian Coffman); sister, Dorothy (Roy) Grayem; brother, Peyton (Theresa) Lord; brother-in-law, William Hoffman; grandchildren, Keith Kline (Robyn), Adam Conley, and Amanda Conley; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N.
