Raymond A. Moats, Jr., 59, Akron, OH died March 18, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Alliance, OH, May 9, 1961.
Preceded in death by his sister, Tracey Dukes; aunt, Phyllis Davidson; and grandma, Edith Goleno.
He is survived by parents, Maxine and Raymond Moats, Sr.; siblings, Edward (Susan) Moats, David Moats and Kenneth Moats; nieces and nephews, Max and Maddie Moats, Jillian, Nolan and Carter Moats.
Ray was an avid NASCAR and Cleveland sports fan. He also enjoyed fishing and taking trips to casinos.
Ray was a graduate of Central-Hower High School, class of 1979. He was employed by the Crystal Clinic, working in environmental services for over 25 years.
Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.
