Raymond Bruce Watson, "Ray" or "Scooter", age 58, of Canton, Ohio, died on Father's Day, June 20, 2021 at his home.
He was born on October 17, 1962 in Akron, the son of the late Raymond E. and Beulah (nee Duckwall) Watson.
Ray served in the US Navy during Dessert Storm
Scooter enjoyed fishing with his friend, Roger Mitchell. He also enjoyed working on motorized bicycles.
Survivors include his daughter, Nicole (Daniel B. III) King; his grandson, Maverick King; his sister, Catherine Elkins; and his nephews, Caleb Watson and his family, and John Moye and his family.
Per the family's request, Ray will be cremated and there will not be any services or calling hours.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
