Reba Jean "Bambi" Davis, 73, resident of Akron, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at home with her family. She was born on February 27, 1939 in Akron to Albert and Rebecca Labor. Jean was formerly involved with the Telephone Pioneers, coaching softball, various handicap associations and graciously serving her family and friends as a mother.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Wayne Davis; grandsons, Jacob and Wayne Davis. Jean is survived by her companion of 18 years, Jerry Smith; children, William, Jr., Michelle, Marchelle and Erin; grandchildren, Magen, Maranda, Michael, Jason, TJ, Jeremy, John, Tabitha, Adam, Michael and Rachael; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Don Labor; nephew, Jason Labor; other nieces, nephews and relatives.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Community of Christ Church, 834 Grant St, Akron, OH 44311. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
