Rebeca Scherer

Rebeca Scherer, age 84, of Jacksonville, FL was taken home to see the Lord on Saturday, July 09, 2022. She is survived by her five children, and countless family and friends both here and abroad.
Rebeca grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in March 1978. She has lived in many places but always called Ohio her home. Rebeca loved to dance and even won a couple of competitions at the age of 80. Her love for the Lord could be seen through her love of her children and her written word. She would do anything for her family and friends. Our family is grateful to know that Rebeca is finally at peace.
Services will be held at Tallmadge Alliance Church, 1155 East Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio on Monday, July 18th. Viewing times are from 10 am - 12 pm with a service to follow, all are welcome. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville, Ohio.
