Rebecca F. Charnovich

Rebecca "Becky" F. Charnovich, 79, of Uniontown, passed peacefully surrounded by family on January 25, 2018. Becky spent her life as a homemaker, who loved to cook and take care of her family.
She was a member of the St. Matthew Church and taught PSR school of religion. She volunteered many hours serving as a member of the women's guild and also served as a Eucharistic minister.
Becky was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Charnovich Jr.
Left to cherish Becky's memory are her children, Carrie (Kevin) Whittaker, Joseph (Zorina) Charnovich, Robert (Beth) Charnovich, and Shelli Gaone; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and other family members.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-7 p.m., at NEWCOMER, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron. A prayer service will be held Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., at Newcomer, followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant View Health Care Center for their compassion and care over the years.
Memorial donations can be made in Becky's honor to either the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org or to Pleasant View Health Care Center, 401 Snyder Ave. Barberton, OH 44203.
