Rebecca Kathleen Johnson

Rebecca Kathleen Johnson, "Becky", age 76, of Atwater, Ohio, died on February 27, 2022 at her home.

She was born on January 8, 1946 in Akron, the daughter of the late Arthur and Laurel (nee Kimes) Johnson.

Becky worked at Akron City Hospital for 40 years as a Nutrition Care Coordinator. She was a fun loving person who never met a stranger.

She was into flower gardening and music, and in her younger years was very adventurous, especially traveling, however, her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Megan (Edward) Daley, Zachary (Sarah) Kapper and Joshua (Paula) Kapper; her grandchildren, Hayli Rentz, Kyleigh Daley, Aiden, Ethan, Reid, Aislin, Sienna and Donavon Kapper; her step-grandson, Kincaid Shriver. Becky also has a "bonus daughter", Deana Fetter and her children, Caden, Logan, and Jordan Fetter.

Also surviving are her siblings, Patricia Miller, Judith Thomas, Jennie Masl, Monty Johnson, Timothy (Elena) Johnson and Mollie (Jeff) Arnold.

Other than her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara Sondles and Delbert Johnson.

The family wishes to thank Elara Caring Hospice for their tender care and love shown to Rebecca, especially, Vicki Knotts, Lynette and Michael.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, where Pastor Joel Engman will celebrate Rebecca's life.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
