Rebecca Louie Altuz

Rebecca Louie "Becky" Altuz, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. She was born on November 27, 1954 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Robert and Alice Harlow. Our family is grateful to have been given such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker.
Becky is survived by her loving husband, Raymond A. Altuz of Akron, daughters; Rebecca P. Altuz of New York, Elena I. Altuz of New York and Angela A. Altuz of Pennsylvania, 2 granddaughters, Kayla and Charisma, sister, Roberta (Christopher) Dodd of Akron, brothers, Charles Harlow of North Carolina and Stephen (Lillian) Harlow of Mississippi; many nieces, nephews and relatives. The family wishes to thank the East Akron communities and emergency professionals for all the care they have shown during a very difficult time.
Friends may call 4-6 pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 6:00 pm.
