Rebecca L. Maddox, 63, passed away peacefully September 4, 2022. Born in Akron, Ohio to Bill and Mary (Bogard) Maddox, she was a lifelong area resident. Becky was a selfless spirit who enjoyed life in general, specifically bowling, gardening, photography, boating, fishing, singing, animals and spending time with her beloved family.
Preceded in death by her parents, Becky will be sadly missed by her sisters, Debbie Lewis, Patty Zupko; nieces, Holly (Emily) Taylor, Lindsey Zupko (Ben Skinner); lifelong friends, Sharon and Toni.
Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. A celebration of Becky's life will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
