Rebecca Jean Mafield

On December 26th, 2020 after a short battle with cancer, Rebecca Jean Mafield (Ankrom) passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born on August 26, 1955 in Akron, OH. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Ankrom and Alberta Ankrom. She is survived by her brother, Richard Ankrom II; sister, Deborah Ankrom; 2 daughters, Meagan Mafield and Cortney Mafield Freudeman; grandsons, Aydin Calgos and Justin Freudeman; granddaughters, Madilynn, Sydney and Lyvia Freudeman and Isabella and Alayna Ragozine; and special friends, Jamie, Denise, Billie Jean, Sandy McKeever, Deb Biller, Kelly (Brian) Fitts, Annie Puzakulics, Jack and Jackie, Marjorie Goldman, Cathy Calgos and many others.

Per Becky's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Becky's life will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 1-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131, N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. Per health department regulations, masks must be worn and social distancing is to be observed.

Mom, we already miss you and ask that you please say Hi to Grandma, Grandpa, Debbie, Frankie and Shanna. Your infectious laugh and vivacious spirit will live on through us all.
