Regina E. Berish

Regina E. Berish, 100, of Akron, passed away August 29, 2008 at Traditions at Bath Road. She was born on October 24, 1907 in Grakow, Poland to the late Joseph & Michalina (Orchek) Zawatka. Regina came to America in 1914 on the Lucitania. In 1925, she married the late Andrew J. Berish, Sr. She was an avid card player and enjoyed gambling. Regina loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters. She is survived by her sons, Andrew (Patricia) Berish of Lake Arrowhead CA and Ron (Dorothy) Berish of Akron; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
