Reva J. Cox, 79, of Uniontown, passed away August 30, 2010 at Akron City Hospital. She was born November 13, 1930 in Charleston, WV. Reva was preceded in death by her husband, Alva W. Cox; parents, Roy & Nora (Light) Kessinger; daughters, Peggy L. Kinsel and Billie L. Foltz. She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa D. (Homer) Cresong; son, Gary D. (Sally) Cox; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carrie, Rose, Wanda and Elsie; brother, Leroy. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 – 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at Harvestime Temple, 136 E. Maple St., Hartville beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
