In Loving Memory of Richard Alan Davis

Rick Davis of Canton, OH died peacefully January 20th, 2025 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH.

Rick was born in Pine Bluff, AR and survived by his Wife Carol Davis, Beloved Stepmother Jean Davis, Sister Judy Caldwell, Brian & (Sandra) Davis, Son Chad & (Nicole) Davis, daughter Deirdre Davis, son Drew & (Isabel) Davis, Ex-Wife, Catherine Petty Davis, Grandkids Jonah Coleman, Brooke Davis, Kaedra Davis, Grady Coleman, Leslie Grace Davis, Blake Davis. Stepsons Jeff & (Stacie) Paul, Jonathon & (Bethany) Paul and their children Wesley, Evelyn, Violet, Emmy, Ellis and Eliza. Preceded in death by his Mother Margaret Ann (Reichen), Father LD Davis, Uncle ‘Buck’ Laurence Reed & Aunt Janey Dean Reed, brother Larry Davis, and his beloved dog Buckeye.

Rick loved taking his family on many vacations including annual Outer Banks trips when the kids were young. He loved watching and hearing about his grand kids play their favorite sports. And, of course, watching his favorite team the Ohio State Buckeyes, (unless they were playing his alma mater The Razorbacks at a bowl game) & the Cleveland sports teams. And walking his favorite dog Buckeye, rest in peace.

Rick enjoyed a successful career in the Jewelry business retiring in 2018 after approx. 4 decades with Signet Jewelers. Working his way up from minimum wage behind the jewelry counter to a respected Vice President of Operations. During Ricks tenure his favorite part of his job was traveling weekly for decades to visit his DMs, their Managers and the thousands of employees he interacted with each year. He also loved serving on the real estate expansion board for Signet opening many new stores annually, the Marketing team including the development of ‘Every Kiss Begins with Kays’ and enjoyed being voted best dressed VP!
