Richard Lee Arkenburg

Richard Lee "Rick" Arkenburg, age 63, of Tallmadge, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord and loved ones on Monday April 22, 2024. He was born in Geneva, Ohio on May 21, 1960 and graduated from North Akron High School specializing in Radio Broadcasting. He was a self employed painter for 30 years. He was a music lover who loved attending live Rock and Roll music concerts. He loved God, family and country.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Tonya (Weisel); son Aaron (Angie) Arkenburg; granddaughters Aria and Alia Arkenburg; brother Rob (Antoinette) Arkenburg; step-father James Haubiel; father-in-law George Weisel; siblings-in-law Kerry Weisel, Tia Weisel, Amber (Troy) Bunton; nieces and nephews Dominic and Roberto Arkenburg, Hannah (Jamie) Squire, Mackenzie (Ian) Tharpe, Brynna, Madison and Kylie Weisel; and other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his father Richard Lee Arkenburg; mother Angela Marie Arkenburg Haubiel; mother-in-law Bonnietta Weisel.

Visitation will be April 26th, Friday 4-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home. Funeral services are April 27th, Saturday 8:30 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Stephens officiating. Final resting place is Hillside Memorial Park.
