Richard L. Bever

Richard L. "Rick" Bever, 67, passed away February 21, 2023 with his family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Denzil Bever and Caretta (Myles) Streby, he was a lifelong Akron area resident. Rick retired from Perrin Asphalt, where he worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed camping, collecting guns, playing the guitar, the Beatles music, watching the Browns and spending time with his family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Caretta; brothers, Keith (Wanda), Greg (Barb), David (Mary); son, Jason (Vicki); grandsons, Robert (Britney), Michael; great grandchildren, Payton, Kaiden, Elijah.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of Rick's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Rick's name to the charity of their choice.
