Richard William Cantrell

Richard W. Cantrell, 40, passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2016 in Akron, Ohio where he was a lifelong resident. He was born on August 28, 1976 and was a graduate of East High School.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Cantrell; and grandmother, Agnes Cantrell.

Richard is survived by his daughters Chelsea and Madison, step-daughter, Chloe; mother, Madeline Millward (Harry); brother, Rob Cantrell; step-sister, Marie Millward; step-brother, Michael Millward (Erin); grandparents, Joe and Lucy Mickunas; nephews, Ryan and Conner; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and too many friends to list.

Rich was an outstanding athlete, loved sports, and enjoyed playing whenever he could. He was also a talented artist and loved to draw. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 4 pm until time of funeral service at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
