Richard Chester, Sr.

Richard "Terry" Chester, Sr., 63, of Connellys Springs, North Carolina, formerly of Tallmadge, passed away on May 19, 2013. He was born on August 6, 1949 to the late John and Numa (Dagenhart) Chester in Hudson, NC. Terry retired as an inspector for Chrysler Corp. after over 30 years of service and enjoyed racing. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a devoted family man.

Terry is survived by his loving Wife of 44 years, Beverly Chester (Sayers), Son, Rick (Anna) Chester, Son, Randy (Sabrina) Chester, Daughter, Jodi (Perry Colbert) Crislip, 8 Grandchildren, Corey, Ashley, Bryan, Steven, Daniel, Brandy, Cody and Billy, 1 Great Grandchild, Aliona, another Great Grandchild on the way, Sisters, Brenda, Martha and Vicki, Brother, Don, many other family members.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Community at New Direction Church, 226 Southeast Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon, following visitation, at the church with Rev. Tim Ream officiating. Final resting place will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
