Richard A. Cole, Sr.

Richard A. Cole, Sr., 88, passed away peacefully November 7, 2021. Born in Findlay, Ohio on July 21, 1933 to Myron B. and Arvilla M. (Doolittle) Cole, he was a proud resident of Lakemore, Ohio for 60 years. A U. S. Army Veteran, Dick belonged to Carpenter's Local 639 and was a skilled carpenter until retiring in 1997. He was an avid reader who also enjoyed woodworking, collecting typewriters, studying foreign languages, gardening and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Soledad. He will be sadly missed by his children, Richard, Jr. (Jenny), Julie Rose; brother, Bob (Judy); grandchildren, Conner, Rebecca; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd., Lakemore. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Gindlesberger officiating.
