Richard Leon Coleman, age 52 of Tallmadge, Ohio, died on October 30, 2018 in Kent, Ohio.
He was born on April 30, 1966 in Corona, California, the son of Pauline Ruth (nee Westfall) Coleman of Akron and the late Everett Horace Coleman.
Richard was a project manager for Precision Remodeling here in Akron. He enjoyed building homes and remodeling them. "Aussie", an Australian Shepherd Border Collie, was his favorite dog.
Other than his mother, survivors include his daughters, Amber Zemelka, Brittany Coleman, and Chelsea Coleman; three grandchildren; his siblings, Gloria (Robert) Rege-Stockdale, Everett Coleman, Sandy (Mike) Freeman, Harold (Lisa) Coleman, Melissa Hughes, and Sally Smith.
Other than his father, his step-father, Earl Blaney, is also deceased.
Memorial services will be held at a later date, please contact the family for the date, time, and place of service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
