Richard A. Cook

Richard A. Cook, 60, of Akron, passed away January 8, 2005. Richard retired from Goughler Industries in Kent after 35 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and a friend to all. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary; brother, David; and sister, Lois Boland. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Clara; sons, Michael Cook, Jeffrey Cook, and Larry Magel; brother, George; grandchildren, Kathryn Cook, Jeffrey Cook,Jr., and Corey Magel; many friends from Kent. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Harmony Baptist Church, 1127 Southeast Ave n Tallmadge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richards name at any Fifth Third Bank.
