Richard D. Maley
Richard D. Maley, 72, of Akron, passed away September 2, 2011. He was born August 21, 1939 in Shinnston, West Virginia to the late Harley and Francis Ann Maley. He retired from Timken and was a member of the Mogadore Moose Lodge. In his free time he enjoyed golf, ice fishing, and his beloved dog Mooch. Richard was loved by many people and will be deeply missed by all. He was preceded in death by his son, Richie Jr. and brother, June. Richard leaves behind his best friend, wife, and the mother of his children, Martha; daughters, Sonya Weaver, Sherri Farkus, and Terri (Doug) Blake; sons, Charles Maley, Rick Maley, and Timmy Maley; six brothers; four sisters; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. Thank you to Richard's special brothers and caretakers, Bill and Kenny. Visitation will be Monday September 5 from 12-2 followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N.
