Richard E. Eldridge

Richard E. Eldridge passed away Friday, December 18, 2020. Thankfully, while in the hospital he made the choice to repent and asked Christ into his heart, and has finally found peace.
Richard was born in Akron on January 25, 1956 to Bill and June Eldridge. He was a graduate of Springfield High School and lived in the Akron area his entire life. Richard had several jobs the last of which was at Ace Rubber. Richard liked to read and work on cars. He had a big heart and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and June Eldridge; his siblings, Bill Eldridge, Marilyn Parks, and Walter Eldridge; and nephew, David Eldridge.
Richard will be deeply missed by his children; Ritchie Eldridge, Randy (Michelle) Eldridge, Tammy (Justin) Roberts, and Christy Eldridge; his grandchildren, Allen Roberts, Darcy and Andrew Eldridge; his siblings Jerry O'Donnell, John (Joyce) Eldridge, Jane (Bob) Danco, Bob (Sharon) Eldridge, and Danny (Marilyn) Eldridge; Sisters-in-law, Karen Eldridge and Carole Eldridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Richard's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
