Richard M. Farnsworth, "Richie", age 54 of Akron, Ohio, died on January 18, 2021.
He was born in Akron on January 30, 1966, the son of Rosalie (nee Feister) Farnsworth, with whom he lived.
Richie enjoyed movies, writing and sports, especially the Akron Aeros, which are now the Rubber Ducks. His greatest joy was spending time with his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Richie is survived by his brother, Michael (Erin) Farnsworth; and his nieces and nephews, Luke and Catherine Farnsworth and Brittany, Bradley and Emily McFee; and his great-niece and great-nephew, Maggie and Casey.
Richie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Margaret Conroy.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 9:00 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown Street, Akron, Ohio 44301, where Father Matthew Pfieffer will celebrate Richie's life.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
