Richard "Rick" E. Gowin, 61, of Akron passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019. He was born January 11, 1958, in Akron, and was raised in Cuyahoga Falls.
Rick worked for King Apartments in Akron. He liked working on cars or anything mechanical. He would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He is preceded in death by parents Charles and Ann Gowin, brother Kevin Gowin, and beloved canine kids Callie and Smokey. He leaves behind sister Bonnie {Gowin} Estes, brother Tag Gowin, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12 from 5-7:00 PM at NEWCOMER, AKRON CHAPEL, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Per Rick's request, cremation has taken place.
