Richard H. Neal, 72, rejoined his wife and our Lord on July 10, 2012. Born in Akron on January 15, 1940, he was a life long resident. He retired from Akron Summa Hospital Laundry Department after over 30 years of service. Richard was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family, the Cleveland Indians, and Nascar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Frances Neal; and wife, Lola Neal. Richard is survived by his son, Rich Neal and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Chelsey, Richie, Zackeri, Tyler, Cody, Dylan, and Makayla; brothers, Don Neal and Dennis (Joanne) Neal; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Special thank you to caregiver Jackie Tatum for all her loving care and kindness.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 14 from 10-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. If desired, condolences may be sent to Rich Neal PO Box 3854, Akron, OH 44314.
