Richard J. Emore, 66, of Akron, passed away November 11, 2009. Dick was born October 29, 1943 in Akron to the late James and Dorothy Emore. He was a car enthusiast and spent many hours searching for parts at junkyards and repairing cars. He was especially fond of Plymouth Mopars. Dick was a member of the Myasthenia Gravis Association after becoming afflicted with the disease. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Dick will be deeply missed by his wife of 40 years, Nancy; children, Kristie Sue, Kari Ann, and James Richard Emore; brothers, James (Linda) Emore and Bill (Nancy) Emore; granddaughters, Stormi Karlene Poling and Ava Marie Emore; nephew, Brent (Jen) Emore; niece, Jenna Emore; mother-in-law, Lucille Boggs; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
