Richard James Stewart, 77, of Green, passed away December 25, 2007. He was a life long resident of the Akron area. Jim served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper. He was an electrician at Goodyear Tire & Rubber and retired after over 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; sons, Gary (DeChantal) of Troy, OH, Craig (Susan) of Clinton, OH, and Richard (fiancee Becky) of Akron, OH; and his grandchildren. Friends and relatives may call Sunday, December 30 from 5-8 p.m. and Monday, December 31 from 10-11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service officiated by Pastor Robert Webb at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Burial at Greensburg Cemetery on Thursby Rd. in Green.
