Richard Jackson Sr., a.k.a. "Big Jack," age 81 of Akron passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. He was born in Barberton, OH on March 4, 1941 to the late Hardy and Arlene {Reed} Jackson.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his son Gentry Jackson, brother Everhard Jackson, sister Nerma Darlene Jackson-Grimes and niece Traci Neal.
He leaves to mourn his passing his sister JoAnn Neal; daughter Diamond Jackson-Sapp; sons Richard Jackson Jr., Marcus (Michelle) Jackson and Andre (Jacki) Jackson; grandchildren Joshua Sams, Taylor, Brady, and Michael Michelle Sapp, Richard Bradley Jackson and Arisha Hamilton, Mackenzie and Mariah Jackson, Jade and Emerald Jackson and Jazelle and Javon Hamm; cousin Elgen Lehalie Grayson; several nieces and nephews.
Richard retired after 43 years at Chrysler Automotive.
