Richard A. Johnson

Richard A. Johnson, born June 30, 1942, passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side on December 4, 2020. Richard (Dick) was preceded in death by his wife, Connie and his parents. Richard was a loving father to three girls, Christina (Martin) Lauby-Connor, Charrisa (Andrew) Hattery, and Shana Kim; stepfather to Terrace Weeks and Rachel (Steve) Miller; brother to William (Rhonda) Johnson; loving uncle and grandfather to fifteen grandchildren.
Whether water skiing side by side, boating, riding coasters, or long road trips, one thing you knew was how thrilling it was to be along for the ride.
One of our fondest memories was Dad's love for cooking, whether baking or grilling, he loved sharing it with all.
Dad enjoyed his life long career of 38 years on The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Police Department after his honorable discharge of 6 years service in the United States Air Force. In recognition of his service in the United States Air Force, a private ceremony with honors will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
