Richard A. Karm

Richard A. Karm, of Akron, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on August 26, 2017. He was born in Michigan City, IN on September 14, 1927 to the late Abram and Lena Karm. He served in the Army and worked in the retail market for most of his life. He loved to garden and hike with family in the park system. A long standing member of St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church.

Dick will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 59 years, Mila Karm; children, Richard M. (Theresa) Karm, Lisa (Peter) Miller, Lori Karm, Carol Karm, and Melissa (Mike) Kuhn; brother Fred (Joanne) Karm Sr.; grandchildren, Josh, Alex, Nicole, Riley, and Samara; and great-grandson, Bentley;brother-in-law, Dennis (Doris) Kratzer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dick was preceded in death by his sister Laurece and brother-in-law Martin LoSchiavo and granddaughter, Allyson Licitri.

Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron OH 44305 on Wednesday August 30 from 4pm-8pm, with a Trisagion service at 7pm. Interment at Holy Cross cemetery on Thursday August 31, 2017.
