Richard L. "Rick" Hash, 52, of Tallmadge, went home into the arms of his Savior on January 20, 2009. He was born September 26, 1956 in Lexington, Kentucky. Rick started and ran PRN Therapy for 20 years serving many in the surrounding community. He had a strong church affiliation with the Community Bible Church in Rootstown since its inception serving on the church's council and directing membership care and missions. He also served on the board of directors of Things to Come Missions. Rick was known for his compassion and a sweet, helpful spirit throughout his life. His never-ending love was felt by all his family and friends and extended to all those who knew him. We will all miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Hash, Sr. Rick is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Patti S. (Carr) Hash; mother, Ann J. Hash; daughters, Jessie and Ginny Hash; sons, Jake and Stephen Hash; sisters, Angie (Larry) Overholt, Debbie (Doug) Pryor and Becky (Don) Myers; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at Community Bible Church, 3671 Tallmadge Rd., Rootstown OH 44272 on Saturday beginning at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Hindel officiating. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Mitch & Darlene for their love and support as well as to the staff at Hospice of Summa.
