Richard A. Loue
Richard A. Loue, 79, of Akron passed away June 23, 2007 at Akron General Medical Center and joined his life long partner, Donna, in eternal rest. Born September 24, 1927 to the late William E and Eva Grace (nee Strayer) Loue. He lived his life with strength, humor and a quiet dignity. He served in the US Navy then held supervisory positions in the Akron and Twinsburg based rubber factories and managed a family business with his wife Donna, but one of his great loves was working with the Akron Police Department in the capacity of a reserve officer and managing the F.O.P # 7 Lodge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Bill and Carl and sister Donna Hendricks. He is survived by daughters Sharon Maliff, Sandra Gibson, Sheryl Manthe, Susan Hoover, Sheila Moles; brother David (Pearl) Loue; grandchildren Jennifer, Kelly, Kenny (Laura), John Michael (Michelle), Neil (Jennifer), Brian, Ashley, Cady, Tony, Nichole, Eric, David, Dustin, Angie, Jay and Kayla; great grandchildren Alexis, Allyson, Emily, Matthew, Juliana, Riley, Cole, Izabella, Cayden Devone, ShaRea Amari, Kody, Gabe and many other relatives and friends. Special recognition and thanks to Cher Boguski for the heartfelt conversations and to his beloved companion Scoot. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, June 26 from 1 - 3 PM and 7 - 9 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N Canton Rd where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM with Rev.
