Richard Thurston Metcalf Jr.

Richard Thurston Metcalf Jr., "Dick", age 88 of Kent, Ohio, died on November 26, 2022 at UH Portage Hospital in Ravenna.
He was born on August 10, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Richard Thurston and Gladys Winifred (nee Klubbler) Metcalf Sr.
Dick was a salesman, selling paper products. He enjoyed traveling, investigating life. Dick always was a very happy gent and loved pizza.
Survivors include a very good friend of his Nicole Maughan.
Other than his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his wife, the former Gladys Louise Mahoney on June 1, 2018, they were united in marriage on July 16, 1973.
Per Richard's wishes, there will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements were entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
