Richard Lee Morgan

Richard L. Morgan went home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2020. He was born September 14, 1939 in Crawfordsville, IN to Paul and Goldie Belle Brooks Morgan. He went to school from 1st thru 9th grade in Indiana and then 10th thru 12th at Springfield High School. Richard served in the US Marine Corps from 1958-1962 in the 2d Force Recon Co. He was a machinist and started Hartville EDM in 1979 in Suffield, OH with his brother David. Richard attended Mogadore Baptist Church serving as a Sunday School teacher, visitation, a deacon and as clergy.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey; brothers, Keith, Joe and JP; and sisters-in-law, Norma and Anne. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Darlene; daughters, Denise (Dave) Farley and Deidre Shrader; son, Richard Jr. (Sherri); 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandsons; brother, David; brother-in-law, Gene (Natalie) Milhoan; and sisters-in-law, Karen and Rose.

The family would like to thank Mercy Hospital in Canton and Mercy Medical Hospice for the care he received.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
