Richard A. Norris

Richard Allen Norris, 62, of Munroe Falls, passed away September 29, 2017 after a brief illness. Rick was born in Akron, Ohio on November 29, 1954. He worked as a Five-Star Mechanic at Falls Motor City and various other dealerships throughout his adult life. He was a simple man, finding great enjoyment in his granddaughters, NASCAR and Indy car racing. He was a great friend to many and was well respected; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Norris.

Rick leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Virginia A. (Allen); daughter, Kristin (Jason) Norris; granddaughters, Alanna and Brooklyn; his loving companion, Debra Byrne; siblings, Nancy (Chet) Puett and Dale (Nichole) Norris, and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 5 pm until time of funeral service at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. Memorial donations may be made in Rick's honor to the American Lung Association at http://www.lung.org
