Richard D. Owens
March 28, 1949 — October 25, 2023
Richard D. Owens, 74, passed away at home on October 25, 2023 surrounded by those who loved him.
Preceded in death by parents, Helen and James, and brother, Bob, he will be sadly missed by his wife, Cathy; daughter, Lesley (Mark) Nicodemus; granddaughters, Marissa and Lauren Nicodemus; sister-in-law, Bev Owens and nephew, Jeff Owens of Vero Beach, FL.
Rich was a union carpenter who so looked forward to spending his winters in Key Largo with Linda and Sassy Adams and his Rock Reef Resort family, which was one of the greatest highlights of his retirement.
A special thanks to cousin Becky Ciriello, Terri Miller and Mike Eberling for their unending support during the most difficult months of his life. You truly were his earthly angels.
As per Rich's wishes, he has been cremated and there will be no services.
Rest in peace, Richie, and thank you for the life we shared. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal - love leaves the memories no one can steal. I love you.
