Richard J. Petrella, 61, went Home to be with the Lord and his wife on November 24, 2022. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to Dick and Trixie (Powell) Petrella, he resided in the Knox County, Ohio area most of his adult life. Rick enjoyed having a good time with friends as well as helping the less fortunate. He also loved to eat, most especially Italian food.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Petrella; siblings, Judy Graewe, Robert "Butch" Petrella; nephew, Frank Matheny. He will be sadly missed by his children, Rocky Petrella, Robert Petrella, Jessie Petrella-Kincaid, Maggi Petrella-Bookman; grandchildren, Mac, Justice, Rocky, Dylan, Cameron, Maci, Hunter, Bella, Kai; siblings, Bootsy (Kurt) Schuster, Dagmar (Rick) Matheny; nieces, nephews and friends.
Per Rick's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. He will be reunited with his wife at Sunset Memorial Gardens in North Olmsted, Ohio.
