Richard Paul Stevens

Richard Paul Stevens, "Rick", age 78, husband of Georgiene (nee Bianco) Baker Stevens of New Franklin, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Summa Hospital, Akron, due to Covid related complications.
A native of Akron, Rick was the son of the late Ernestine and William Cook, born on September 20, 1942.
He was a former truck driver for various local companies and his hobbies included, lawn care, fishing, tinkering with vehicles, motorcycling and spending time with his good friends, Roger Booth and Eddie Lowe both of Cuyahoga Falls.
Other than his parents, Rick is also preceded in death by his daughters, Marla Stevens, Shauna (nee Stevens) Rankin and son-in-law Tim Rankin.
He is survived by his daughter, Misha (Joseph) Prunesti of Akron; step-daughter, Theresa (nee Baker) Kapper of Green; step-son, Anthony (Tracy) Baker of Grove City, PA.; his grandchildren, Joey Prunesti of Akron, Hannah Rankin (Larry) Groves, Rachel Rankin and Alisha Rankin all of Anderson, SC; his great-grandchildren, Meghann Rankin and Lillian Rankin both of Anderson, SC and Elena Messina, AJ Baker and Gianna Baker all of Grove City, PA.
There will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
