Richard P. Tabor, 84, of Munroe Falls, went home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2023.
Richard was a long-time resident of Munroe Falls, Ohio.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Madeline in 2014, he spent the last 8 years walking around Munroe Falls park, watching the kayakers float down the Cuyahoga (he loved to people watch), having meals with dear friends and family and enjoying watching reruns of Columbo, Matlock and other favorite programs.
He is survived by daughters, Susan Tabor Tripepi and Katrina Tabor Botimer (Bruce); granddaughter, Amanda Tripepi (Rob); great-granddaughter, Tara Madeline and many beloved nieces.
Richard was a devoted husband, father and friend. There wasn't a person he thought was a stranger. He could connect with anyone. His uncanny ability to fix anything with duct tape was something to be marveled. He would "pots" around the house tinkering and fixing things for anyone. He adored his family and treasured the times spent together. His favorite recent title was "great-poopah."
A Celebration of Life will be held at Twin Falls UMC, Sunday, May 7th at 3:00pm; fellowship to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Munroe Falls Fire Dept., 43 Munroe Falls Ave., Munroe Falls, OH or Haven of Rest Ministries which was a favorite charity of his.
You are invited to sign the online guest book and leave a fond memory.
