Richard Tony Maroni
Richard Tony Maroni, 76, of Ravenna passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 18, 2010 at Robinson Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on June 24, 1934 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late John and Adelia (Bernadino) Maroni. He had lived in Ravenna since 1960 and was previously employed in the grocery supply business. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Catherine; sons, Frank (Linda), Anthony (Monica), Michael (Rhonda), Paul (Laura), and Mark (Patricia); daughters, Maria (Robert) Conkle, Julie (Jeffery Stier) Embick, Nancy (David) Coughenour, and Therese (David) Miller; 23 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, and one sister. At Richard's request, there will be no visitation or services. A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
