Richard Louis Trennell

Richard Louis Trennell, age 85 of Akron died peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, July 9, 2021. A lifelong resident of Akron, Richard was born on December 20, 1935, the son of the late Louis and Blanche {Ulm} Trennell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Janet {Rang} Trennell.

Richard is survived by sons Rick (Kat) and Paul (Helen) Trennell; grandchildren Tommy (David) Hart, Nicholas (Jason) Klein, Brandy (Gary) Dominski, Michael and Joshua Trennell; great-grandchildren Italy, Sicily, Wesley and Brandon; sister Gloria Paradis; extended family members and friends.

After graduating from Hower High School in 1954, Richard joined the U.S. Army, and was honorably discharged in 1963. He was an Akron business owner, and a member of the Teamsters. Richard loved playing bingo with his late wife, Janet, which was their favorite past time. He was a lover of all sports, playing baseball and golf in his younger years, and watching his favorite teams later in life, especially the Cleveland Indians.
