Richard (Dick) J Walton
"Together Forever"
Richard (Dick) J Walton went peacefully to the Lord on Aug. 13, 2005 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on Aug. 5, 1936 to the late Allyn and Adelaide Walton. He was retired from EOG in 1994 after 39 years. Richard was a member of Portage Lake Lodge # 752. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Maryann, and sister Jeanette. Richard is survived by daughter Iva (Ron) Lehman, son Charles (Joy) Walton, grandchildren Samantha Walton, Adam, Sarah and Dean Lehman, sisters Naomi and Elma, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He never met a stranger-always a smile and had love of golf, family and friends. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005 from 5-9 PM, with a Masonic Service at 7:00 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312. Funeral mass will be on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception, 2101 17th St. SW, with Father Mike Smith Officiating. Please meet at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 4291 Richmond Rd., Cleveland, OH 44122-6199. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (330) 784-3334.
