Richard R. Wise, 73, of Akron, passed away January 30, 2010. He was born April 9, 1936 in Barberton, Ohio. He worked hard throughout his life and had many careers. He worked for General Tire, owned several businesses, and worked as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Minnie Wise and several brothers and sisters. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 35 years, Debra; children, Michael (Amy) Knight, Rebecca Wise, Amber and Alexis Knight, and family. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 pm. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
