Rick Hawkins, Jr., 62, passed away September 15, 2021 at home with his family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Dick and Mary Lou (Kesner) Hawkins, he was a lifelong area resident. Rick enjoyed working in his yard, watching the Browns as well as following his other sports teams and spending time with his son and dad.
Preceded in death by his mom, Mary Lou and brother-in-law, Michael Blair, he will be sadly missed by his son, Ricky; dad, Dick; sisters, Mary Jo (Tom) Hicks, Cindy Blair; niece, Jamie; nephew, Phillip.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Rick's name to the Haven of Rest.
