Rickey Bernard McCorvey, 64, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2022 following a brief illness. Born July 10, 1957 in Akron, OH, he was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia A. and Joseph McCorvey, Sr. A 1975 graduate of Buchtel High School, Rickey enjoyed music and played the saxophone, he studied karate, and he enjoyed biking.
He is survived by brothers, Joseph Jr., and Kenneth McCorvey.
Cremation has taken place. A private, graveside memorial will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to 1227 Hartford Ave., Akron OH 44320.
