Robert A. Abshire
Robert A. Abshire, 55, of Uniontown, passed away suddenly on September 9, 2007. Bob was born July 17, 1952 in Akron and lived in the Akron area all his life. Bob was a graduate of Tallmadge High School. Bob worked since he was sixteen in the automobile sales industry and he worked in automobile sales the remainder of his life. Bob was fun loving and always had a smile on his face and a joke to share. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald L. Abshire and mother, Alice Abshire (Smith). He is survived by his son, Marc A. Abshire of Akron; brother, Richard (Cindy) Abshire of Hartville; sister, Robin (Dale) Mitchell of Uniontown; his love, Nancy "Nanny" Allen of N. Canton; nieces, Deanna (Jim) Porter of Canton and Meggan Birdsong of Uniontown; great-niece, Ashley Porter; and many friends and loved ones. Calling hours will be Friday, September 14 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Rev. Jack Coontz will officiate a private memorial service and burial for family on Saturday.
