Robert Berger, 72, passed away August 24, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was a guitar player, and was an avid guitar collector. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Jean Berger; and daughters, Deloris and Marlene Berger. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Vera; brother, John (Betty) Berger; sister, Dorothy (Chuck) Zook; daughters, Debbie (Eric) Lyall, Mel, Wanda (Glenn), Roberta, Robbie, Nadine (Steve) Nuss, and Sherry (Ken) Wilson; sister-in-law, Cathy Zook; former wife, Doreen Allen; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews; and his loving dog, Molly. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 27, from 5 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be held Saturday, August 28, at 11 am with Pastor Jack Koontz officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown.
