Robert E. Blizzard

Robert E. Blizzard "Bob", 69, went home to be with the Lord February 6, 2021. Bob was a lifelong Akron resident, born on January 25, 1952. He graduated from Ellet High School. Bob was the owner of Blizzard Trophies completing his career two years ago. His faith in the Lord was the center of his world at Eastgate Alliance Church. He will always be remembered for his selfless, generous spirit. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle and will be deeply missed. Bob is now reunited with his father, Jack Blizzard. He is survived by his mother, Betty Blizzard; sister, Sandra (James) Memmer; niece and nephew, Ashley and Brad Memmer; and his loving cats. A small, personal service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm, and Bob will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
