Robert "Bob" Stasel

Robert "Bob" Stasel, 75, of Akron, passed away on June 9, 2016. He was born November 27, 1940 in Smithville, WV. Bob was a graduate of Akron Garfield High School and a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed playing softball and tormenting his grandkids, nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by parents, Kiase and Martha Stasel; brother, Ronald Stasel; nephew, Jeffrey Johns. He is survived by daughters, Nichole (Shawn) Golden, Michele (Earl) Iles; grandchildren, Brandon, Jenna and Cassidy Golden, Bethaney (Brice) Tignor, Casey Iles; great-granddaughter, Payton Tignor; sister, Karen (Ray) Henry; brother, Steven (Peggy) Stasel; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will welcome guests for a memorial service on Friday June 17, 2016 at Tallmadge United Methodist Church, 207 N. Munroe Rd., Tallmadge. Visitation will be held from 10-10:30 am followed by service at 10:30 am.
